| Bio: | Currently working as an applications engineer, which means I write proposals for combustion systems which are enormously expensive. Why they let the youngest employee price up the six million dollar system, I'll never know.
Talents: I play the flute, oboe, piano, guitar, and tin whistle, all sporadically and with varying ability. I read books in Spanish and knit things. I draw furre, cartoons, and Celtic knotwork sometimes. I write a bit, obviously. I used to know Robert's Rules of Order backwards and forwards but now I doubt I could call the previous question. I can shuffle cards and flick pennies with deadly speed.
I enjoy choosing obscure subjects and researching the heck out of them. This has made me a pretty good parazoologist. If you've got a werewolf in your village, a ghost in your basement, or a dragon in your well, maybe I can help.
My Redwall species is rat, my Hogwarts house is Slytherin, my Tolkein species is Hobbit, and my social designation is, obviously, Nerd.
I am a dedicated Christian and decidedly single. I have an irrational fear of earthworms lying on a wet sidewalk. My younger brother, who has Down's Syndrome, works in a group home, and my younger sister ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) tahmthelame is a librarian.
Right now my only pets are a pair of grumpy turtles named Nero and Brutus, over a dozen houseplants, and some refrigerator mold. |
